The Surprising Way to Find Your Happy Weight

Most people think that controlling their food intake will help them control their weight.

That’s the reason you’ve been on various diets and healthy eating plans, right?

You want to get to a certain size, so you start to control what you eat - maybe you focus on reducing calories, or the times that you eat, or even cutting out certain food groups.

In theory, this makes sense, right?

It’s counter-intuitive, I know, but for the vast majority of people, the more we control our food intake, the more out of control they feel.

More bingeing.

More overeating.

More emotional eating.

Which often - in the long run - leads to gaining weight.

So what can you do to stop this?

It’s a simple and brilliant tip - mindfulness.

Control and mindfulness are two very different things.

  • Control works against your body

  • Mindfulness works with your body.

When you focus on control, it’s hard to learn what your body actually needs. That's because you're eating based on an eating plan which dictates when, what and how much you eat.

Mindfulness does the opposite.

It allows you to learn what makes your body feel good, how much to eat to feel satisfied and comfortably full. What gives you energy and vitality... What food you enjoy...

And yeah, it takes time to really tune in, and it takes practice. But the more you eat mindfully, the more you find your happy balance.
