6 top tips for a fabulous year

Here are my 6 tips for a fabulous 2018!

#1 Happiness is an inside job

How you see the world every day is a choice: you can look for the positive, or the negative. What you focus on will impact your health, happiness and how you "show up" daily.

#2 Failure is a part of growth

We all mess up in life.  Sometimes big, sometimes small.  Sometimes it's totally cringeworthy.  I get it - I've been there too.  But when you accept mistakes and failure as part of your growth, you can learn to accept that failure is part of your growth.  Learn from your mistakes, and you will emerge stronger. 

#3 Take 100% responsibility for your life

Stop the excuses and the "reasons" for why you aren't where you'd like to be.  Don't blame others.  Take a look around you - do you like what you see?  No one else can make "it" happen but you, so step up and own your life.

#4 Focus on you

Stop comparing yourself to other people.  Just. Stop. It. Now.  Trust your own path.  You can't be all things to all people.  Instead focus on yourself: you are good enough just the way you are.

#5 You can live the life of your dreams

Sometimes it's scary to dream big.  Maybe you'll fall short, or maybe you'll shine too bright. Trust your vision for the future, put in the work, keep focused, persistent, and you'll get there.

#6 Take some time to reflect

Take time to look back and see how far you've come.  And then celebrate it.  You might think you're NOT where you want to be... but when you look back you can appreciate the journey so far.
