Ginger, turmeric and chai latte

The perfect, warming drink for colder days and darker nights. Ginger and turmeric are well known for their healing properties and great for keeping the cold bugs away.

Ingredients

1 cm cube of fresh ginger
1/2 tsp turmeric
1 scoop chai flavoured protein (or alternatively use vanilla flavour and add 1/2 tsp cinnamon)
1 cup of almond or hazelnut milk

Method

Put all the ingredients in a blender/nutribullet and blitz until everything is thoroughly mixed (especially important for the ginger). Pour the mixture into a saucepan and warm on the hob for about 3 minutes, until it reaches the desired temperature. Enjoy in your favourite mug!
