My recipes
My recipes are simple, nutritious and quick to make.
Radish & Courgette salad
I love putting radishes in salads, where they are divine because they give a salad a little peppery kick.
Sun-dried tomato and olive pasta sauce
I was having a "oh dear I didn't prepare any supper for the kids" moment, so rustled up this super quick pasta sauce. It was a hit with the whole household! This was made with some chickpea pasta which is delicious.
Green Berry Smoothie
The combination of "greens", coriander, berry & cocoa nibs in this smoothie is energy-boosting and cleansing. It will help you feel energised to start the day.
Pistachio cookies
Every now and then I enjoy the odd biscuit (probably a hangover from "tea and biscuits" growing up!). I've experimented with this recipe to get the right balance of not being toooooo sweet, yet still feeling like a proper treat.
Macadamia and almond energy balls
As my husband puts it, these taste like white chocolate! They have satisfying sweetness, but packed full of protein to give you that energy hit.
Chocolatey brownies
Growing up, my mum used to make the most divine chocolate brownies! I've refined the recipe to make a healthier version that taste just as delicious but without the sugar hit...
Apple & Ginger smoothie
This smoothie feels fresh and cleansing. A fabulous way to start the day, or a mid-afternoon pick me up - it will give you a fabulous energy boost. The ginger is known to soothe the digestion, coriander is cleansing and apples are just brilliant for you.
Sweet potato & broccoli curry
This is quick, easy and oh so warming! Perfect on a chilly night. The prawns are optional, so this makes a great vegan dish as well.
High protein dark chocolate
I often crave some chocolate... and sometimes I give in! At other times, these are a great alternative to chocolate... you might even say they are healthy. Great for a sweet tooth and satisfying chocolate cravings...
Pecan & almond energy balls
If you need a mid-morning pick-me-up, this is it! The coconut flakes combined with cocoa nibs give a hint of chocolatey sweetness and the nuts help you feel energised to get through the day.
Ginger, turmeric and chai latte
The perfect, warming drink for colder days and darker nights. Ginger and turmeric are well known for their healing properties and great for keeping the cold bugs away.
Apple & courgette muffins
These savoury muffins are really easy to make - whizzed up in literally five minutes! They make the perfect breakfast or a great lunch box snack...
Choco-berry smoothie
This delicious smoothie is full of antioxidants. With raw cacao (one of the highest antioxidant value of all the natural foods in the world), and combined with berries, it’s a totally winning way to start your day.
Simple lentil dhal
This lentil dhal is so easy to make and a perfect warmer as the evenings get darker and the nights get longer.
Aduki bean, carrot & cauliflower salad
Salads are so quick and easy to create and if you include some good quality protein, then you'll feel full and satisfied after your meal. I particularly love salads in the evenings if I don't have time to cook "properly"...
Brown rice balls
These work really well if you are struggling for ideas for a lunch box, or go really well as a side dish. If you have any leftover rice, this is the perfect recipe...
Pumpkin & sunflower seed granola
This is the perfect breakfast. Full of protein and healthy fats to keep you full until lunch time... I make up a batch of this every couple of weeks and is a great alternative to sugary breakfast cereals.
Warming beetroot soup
The beetroots at the moment are delicious, and they are so good for you! This soup is so easy to make, very quick and perfect for a chilly evening; warming and with a little kick to warm you from the inside out...
Perfectly pink smoothie
Wow the PINK of this one is out of this world… it almost looks fluorescent. I’m loving beetroots at the moment...
